I was there for a wedding where I got the chance to play saxophone at the cocktail and at night at the party, as SAXONARA. It was very fun and magic, the location is amazing for weddings, it has different areas that allow you to prepare different scenarios for each moment of the wedding, I totally recommend it!

New host indeed, very friendly. Guided tour of approximately 1 hour in French, only Monday-Thursday at 14:30 and 16:30 hr. We were lucky to meet the 85 year old Lord of the castle, who arranged the massive renovation works that took decades. Beautiful garden and pigeonnier.

The Chateau de Cas is a gorgeous venue in a remote position between Caylus and St. Antonin. It would be excellent for hosting weddings and other parties in that it has plenty of level outdoor space and 2 large halls to accommodate people in the event of adverse weather. You hire just the venue and then need to make all your arrangements for catering and entertainment. Contact with the Chateau is an issue and we experienced some difficulties getting a response and the planned guided tour did not happen.

Update: revisited and did the tour. It was entirely in French (understood ~25% 😂. The tour had a 15 min video about the restoration and family history and then a visit to every room in the chateau with great historical narrative and personal insights from our guide. It was excellent. Phone in advance to check that there's a tour, as the Castle is regularly booked out for private weddings. Original: Stunningly beautiful setting. The chateau and gardens were set up for a wedding and so I couldn't do a full tour but the welcome was warm nevertheless and it was still very worthwhile to see the beautiful buildings, gardens, views and overall setting. I will return to spend more time exploring. The Chateau is close to the main road between Caylus & Saint Antonin, however there is also a stunning route from Abbey de Beaulieu via Espinas and Mordagne - this is one of the most beautiful drives (motorcycles actually) that I have taken in this area and its strongly recommended for all the stunning sights and scenery.

Thanks to Luc for all his support during the organization of our wedding at Château de Cas. Luc is a more than caring person in every way, from start to finish. He is always available at any time and is incomparably kind. The entire area is very well maintained and all the necessary equipment is present. The descent towards the dovecote, the French garden behind, the main courtyard but also the Sainte Chapelle or the swimming pool will make your event a magnificent memory. We can only thank Luc for everything he has done for us, and encourage him to continue as he does. Luc, THANK YOU again!!
